The memory keeps stirring her curiosity, yet Rou’s stoic and reserved nature makes it difficult for her to approach him. Then one day, with her father sidelined by a leg injury, Asha must take his place and deliver a trial to Rou, the tribe’s only candidate for the Duutuum. But the moment the two step into the Cave of Trials, a thunderous rumble shakes the cavern, and the entrance collapses, trapping them inside.
